Recent happenings

As many of you know, Kari broke her ankle earlier this month by slipping on the ice. The pain was pretty bad at first and thankfully is starting to subside. As a result the kids and myself have had to pickup the slack. That was good for them and me, but after a couple days of being hobbled, Kari was about to go out of her mind. I guess God has His ways of teaching us all and bringing about needed growth. Our church has been a great help with meals and visits. We are very thankful for their fellowship. It looks as if Kari will have to be in a cast for about 8-weeks.

On a sadder note, Kari's cousin Jenny lost her husband Gerry to a heart attack last week. We just ask for prayer for Jenny and all the Peery family during this difficult time.
